This page contains information about December 7th's
ongoing fundraiser for UNICEF's Gaza Appeal for Children in Crisis.
Take Care of Yourself is the soundtrack to the 2023 December 7th role-playing game
SWOLLEN TO BURSTING UNTIL I AM DISAPPEARING ON PURPOSE.
I'm donating all the proceeds made from the digital sales and streaming royalties
of the album to UNICEF's Gaza Appeal for Children in Crisis as a third party fundraiser.
I have the digital distributor of the album, CD Baby, set up to transfer
Take Care of Yourself's streaming royalties to a December 7th PayPal account.
I have also linked the December 7th Bandcamp
to the same PayPal. On the first of every month, I donate all the money in this
December 7th PayPal account to UNICEF via their website.
I provide proof of these donations in the "Donations"
section lower down on this webpage.
If any changes are made to this fundraiser, they will be announced publicly on this
website and on the December 7th social media pages.
UNICEF is a registered UK charity
which was established in 1946 by the UN.
They work around the world in aid of children in need.
Examples of UNICEF's current work includes their services helping families
affected by the 2023 Afghanistan earthquakes, and aiding families
who've been made vulnerable by the ongoing conflict in Yemen.
The Take Care of Yourself fundraiser is specifically raising
money for UNICEF's Gaza Appeal.
Since October 2023, tens of thousands of Palestinians in Gaza
have been killed by the Israel Defence Force. 60% of those murdered have
been women and children. This genocide is being supported by major world
powers such as the USA and the UK governments, who as of the 15th
October 2024, are both still exporting arms to Israel.
UNICEF is working on the ground in Gaza supplying food, water,
medical aid, and more to children in need. The money raised from
the Take Care of Yourself fundraiser will help fund the
great work UNICEF is doing.

Note: Thanks so much for all the support on the album! I'm writing this note
to make some things clear after making this first donation.
Firstly, I made a tweet saying we raised "over £500" the day the album
came out. If you look at the proof images posted above, I only actually
had £410.81 to donate, so that tweet was wrong. The reason for this
is Bandcamp's 15% cut of digital sales. The album has made over
£500, but I only recieved £410.81. When I made that tweet I thought I'd
say how much money the album had made before the cut, but this was a
silly idea. In the future I'll say how much it earned after
Bandcamp's cut. Just wanted to make that clear!
Secondly, you can also see the remaining 81 pence wasn't donated yet.
UNICEF's donation page would only let me donate 80 pence rather than
81 specifically, so in the moment I decided to just donate without
the leftover 80 pence. Afterwards I decided this was another bad idea.
In the future I'll donate everything the website
lets me, including the pennies.
That's all! I just want to make everything crystal clear with
these donations so nothing looks dodgy. If I've done anything
incorrectly please let me know.
